RUSA President's Program: Library in Your Hand: Mobile Technologies for Exchanging Information with Patrons

Mobile devices are increasingly being used to provide libraries with the opportunity to disperse information at the exact point of need. This program will explore and highlight the importance of libraries supporting mobile technologies for both the dissemination and acquisition of information.  Examples of such projects currently being implemented in libraries will be discussed. Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Fiction and Nonfiction Awards Ceremony

An ALA annual event, co-sponsored by RUSA and Booklist. 2012 in Anaheim will be the inaugural event for these awards - don't miss it! Tickets are $25 for RUSA members, and $30 for all others. The shortlist and winners will be selected from the 2012 Notable Books List and the Booklist 2011 Editor's Choice list.
