History: Local History
- Developing a finding aid or other cataloging tool that will provide information on genealogy and local history books, oral and photo histories, and other similar materials which have been self-published by individuals or by small local or vanity publishers.
The Guidelines for Preservation, Conservation, and Restoration of Local History and Local Genealogical Materials (1992) has been sunsetted. Committee service usually begins following Annual Conference, about July 1.
