Rachael Altman started a new job as a Corporate Research Analyst with Grant Thornton International in Chicago, IL.

Sarah Brown, Reference Librarian for Lee County Library System in Southwest Florida, has been accepted into the Sunshine State Library Leadership Institute. Sarah is active in NMRT and FLA, and plans to focus her leadership project on digitization.

Ronunda Claiborne has been promoted to instruction coordinator at Winston Salem State University, in Winston Salem, NC.

Aisha Conner-Gaten, a recent University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign's Graduate School of Library and Information Science, has joined the staff as technical support. She also completed a certificate in Special Collections and plans to develop a career in reference, instruction, and emerging technology librarianship.

Michael Grutchfield started as Collection Development Librarian for Josephine Community Libraries, Inc in Grants Pass, OR in June. JCLI is a non-profit, non-governmental organization started by community members when the County lost funding for its public library system. As Collection Development librarian, Michael is the only MLIS currently employed in the system, and is directly responsible for all weeding and purchasing, and the maintenance of a healthy, relevant collection for the community.

Elizabeth A. M. Howard started a new position as Digital Repository and Collections Librarian at Texas Wesleyan University, Eunice and James L. West Library. She was previously the Digitization and Electronic Collections Assistant. Elizabeth is actively involved with NMRT and is currently serving on the Governance Committee.

Leo Lo has been appointed Head of McLure Education Library at University of Alabama. Prior to that, he was at Kansas State University as Research & Development Librarian. Lo also co-presented Advocating Smarter: Powerful Persuasion Techniques for the Influential Professional with Isabel Gonzalez-Smith and John Jung at the Spectrum Scholars Workshop during the 2014 American Library Association Annual Conference in Las Vegas, NV.

Kelly Quaye became Assistant Librarian at The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College earlier this year.

Suzanne Townsdin has accepted a position as Science Reference Librarian at Texas Woman's University. She earned her MLS from the University of North Texas in May 2014.
