Accepting Proposals for C2E2 2020

Do you have an AWESOME idea for Professional Track programming at C2E2 February 28-March 1, 2020?

The Graphic Novels & Comics Round Table (GNCRT) is again hosting professional programming at C2E2! We are looking for the few, the proud, the comic expo-ready library staff and educators!

The GNCRT Convention Planning team is committed to providing a diverse set of perspectives, in terms of gender, race, library affiliation, professional tenure (new and veteran voices) etc. at all ALA GNCRT-sponsored Con panels. Library work is as diverse as the comics we read and the communities we serve--and our panels should reflect this.

The GNCRT has a few spots to fill and we are looking for panels that:

  • advocate for fandom, gaming, and comics in libraries and schools;
  • include a range of library staff, educators, creators, and publishers; and
  • speak to a breadth of experiences (own voices, self publishing, web comics, gender, sexual identity, social justice, community engagement, multiple literacies)--comics and libraries for all!

Check out our previous panels at past conventions below and then submit your proposal at Proposals due by December 9, 2019 at 5:00pm.
