Best of LRTS Award Jury

Committee Charge

Charge: Annual citation to be given to the author(s) of the best paper published each year in the division's official journal. The recipient(s) shall meet the following criteria: (1) the content is a significant contribution about one or more issues addressed by ALCTS and its sections; (2) the statements in the paper are adequately supported by accurate data and/or documentation; (3) the writing style is clear and readable. Each of the papers published in the volume for the preceding calendar year is eligible for consideration with the exception of official reports and documents, obituaries, letters to the editor and biographies of award winners. The jury may, at its discretion, invite recommendations from other readers. The jury may decide that there is no qualified article and not present an award.
