LIVE! @ your library

live! @ your library logo This national project, begun in 1992 as “Writers Live at the Library,” provided grant opportunities for libraries to present theme-based cultural programming for adults and family audiences to explore important issues and ideas, featuring live appearances by literary, visual and performing artists.

“LIVE! @ your library” is an initiative of the ALA Public Programs Office, with major support from the National Endowment for the Arts external link , Wallace-Reader’s Digest Funds external link , John S. and James L. Knight Foundation external link , and additional support from the National Endowment for the Humanities external link .

At this time, the ALA Public Programs Office is not accepting grant applications for LIVE! @ your library. Please check back for updates and possible new grant opportunities in the future.
