Publicity approval – important!
Publicity for the exhibition is the responsibility of the participating library; however, ALA will work with each library to achieve the best coverage possible. Please contact the ALA Public Programs Office if you have questions or need PR materials. ALA Public Programs staff will be happy to speak to local reporters about the exhibit.
Libraries must submit—at least three days before printing or posting—all draft copy of publicity (press releases, media advisories, website articles or notices, backgrounders, program flyers, ads, invitations, etc) to the ALA Public Programs Office by either e-mail or fax.
Please e-mail drafts to both Susan Brandehoff (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Jennifer Dominiak (email@example.com) or fax to 312-280-5759. If Susan or Jennifer are not available, please send drafts to Angela Thullen Baker (firstname.lastname@example.org). Materials will be reviewed immediately.
