About ALA's 15x15 Planned Giving Campaign
To ensure that ALA will have a strong future to support all libraries and librarians and that every one of us has access to the information we need, ALA launched 15x15, a campaign with the goal to raise $15 million by December 31, 2015. With planned gifts to the Association or its divisions, round tables, scholarships, or programs, ALA will be able to protect opportunities to learn, grow, adapt, and exercise our freedom for future generations.
A planned gift to ALA is your opportunity to support a part of our Association that is most meaningful and important to you.
We invite you to support the ALA 15x15 campaign by becoming a member of the ALA Legacy Society and help ensure the long-term strength of the organization. The ALA Legacy Society is a group of committed individuals who have remembered the Association as a beneficiary in their will, trust, retirement plan or life insurance policy. The Legacy Society provides a way to recognize and thank these donors during their life time. Whether you are planning to support ALA as a public, school, academic or special librarian, or a library trustee, volunteer or friend, we believe there is a way to see your legacy become a reality through our ALA’s Legacy Society and the ALA 15x15 planned giving campaign.
What Is the Next Step?
If you have already arranged for a bequest or other planned gift, we would like to honor your support. Please notify us and become a member. If you are still considering such a gift, let us know so we can help you and your advisors complete your gift in a way that benefits your estate and makes clear your intention to help the Association.
