Face-to-Face Presentation Skills: How to Present Like a Lion (Even if You Feel Like a Lamb)

On-DemandMultiple

Face-to-Face Presentation Skills On-Demand Webinars imageWhat's the biggest fear in Western society? According to a Gallup Poll it's snakes. What's #2? Public speaking (2001). In order to be successful in ANY field, you need to have the ability to communicate your message in an effective, concise, and memorable way. Speakers need one set of skills to create a great message; and then have to call upon a completely different set (and a healthy dose of confidence) to effectively deliver that message.

This session explores the ways in which you—as a library professional—can effectively create and deliver your face-to-face message to your key stakeholders. Whether it's at a local civic meeting or on a national conference stage, how you deliver your message can be just as important—and sometimes more memorable—than your actual message.

This archived webinar was originally presented September 18, 2013.

Running time: 1 hour, 14 minutes
