Instructors

Leah L. White is a reader services librarian at the Northbrook (Ill.) Public Library and a 2012 Library Journal Mover and Shaker. She is a member of the Adult Reading Round Table Steering Committee and the Reference Librarians Association Continuing Education Planning Committee. Leah graduated from Dominican University with her master of library and information science in 2008 and co-founded the Chicago Deskset. She loves comic books, science fiction, fantasy, and video games, and is passionate about helping library workers think about what’s next for libraries. Gwyneth Stupar has worked in libraries for the past 13 years, as a librarian for 6. She has worked in archives and public libraries both at busy public service desks and behind the scenes. When she is not saving the library world, she is volunteering at the largest railway museum in the country, the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Ill. She is proud to serve as reference and web services librarian at the Northbrook (Ill.) Public Library.
