People who work in public libraries are drawn by something bigger than a job—you are moved by the extraordinary possibilities that libraries create. PLA understands, because we are library people ourselves. We know that as the role of public libraries keeps expanding, you must constantly adapt and absorb new responsibilities. How will you keep up?
At PLA, we help make change work for public library people. Our programs, conferences, and continuing education opportunities keep you a step ahead, cultivating a talented community of professionals where anyone can contribute, and everyone can grow. Our practical tools and resources help you talk about how far your library has come and invent what comes next. PLA doesn't just improve public library services—we build public library leaders.
