PLA at 2015 ALA Annual Conference Program Proposal
PLA is now accepting preconference and program proposals showcasing public library practices and innovations for the 2015 ALA Annual Conference, June 25–30, 2015, in San Francisco, Calif. Program topics should showcase emerging trends and examples of risk-taking in the areas of community engagement, managing space, marketing and advocacy, digital content, technology, programming, leadership, funding, staffing, collections, outcome measures, and more.
If you wish to complete this proposal over multiple sessions, then you must log in to the ALA/PLA website in order to save your in-process proposal and return to it later. To log in, click either "login to the ALA/PLA website" below or "Login" in the upper right corner of this page, then enter your ALA website login and password. If you don't have a login or have forgotten it, you will have the option to create or retrieve it on the "Login" page.
To save your in-process proposal, click the "Save Draft" button before closing or exiting the form. Then you can return to the proposal later to complete it. Again, you must be logged into the ALA/PLA website to do this. Click the "Final Submit" button only when you have completely finished the proposal. You must click the "Final Submit" button for your proposal to be considered. After clicking "Final Submit," your submission will be confirmed with a "thank you" screen. You will also receive a copy of your submission via e-mail. The application deadline is 11:59 PM Central on August 15, 2014.
