“Public libraries must turn outward and take our services out into the community in new ways. We must help people navigate the global world of information not just the materials in our own collections. We must facilitate connections within our communities, helping people to share what they know with others by telling their own stories and creating knowledge based on their own talents, expertise and experiences.”
