This introductory course provides staff with a general overview of the value of diversity to the profession and to workplaces. It will help clarify what is meant by diversity, how it is a strategic advantage, and how many different people can contribute to diversity in the workplace. This session helps individuals better understand why diversity is an important part of libraries’ mission statements and goals. This webinar is part of the Office for Diversity’s Diversity Leadership Online series.
