2.0 Building the Participatory Library (ALA TechSource Webcast)

Originally aired Mary 13, 2010.

Web 2.0 technologies are often a short spark rather than a slow burn (Friendster, anyone?). While many institutions like libraries have been successful in implementing these technologies as part of their online presence, the web is also littered with inactive library blogs, lifeless virtual library communities, and out-of-date Facebook pages.

Watch this free ALA TechSource hourlong webinar with John Blyberg and Meredith Farkas.

Blyberg and Farkas are both veteran writers and presenters involved in many efforts to implement 2.0 technologies in libraries. This Webinar will give you a chance to hear about social networking implementations in a variety of library contexts, and to talk with the presenters about their own experiences and suggestions for best practices in implementing new technologies.

Who Should Attend

John Blyberg, Assistant Director for Innovation and User Experience, Darien Library (CT).
