The Office for Information Technology Policy (OITP) Advisory Committee recommended developing a task force to study the many issues related to e-books and library services.  The E-books Task Force (pdf) was established after Annual 2010 and began its work that fall.

A major focus of the Task Force is member education.  To that end the Task Force has created this content that will inform ALA membership as well as other interested stakeholders.
