Advancing Women in Library Leadership - Subcommittee Mission   To recommend, support, and develop projects which encourage equal opportunity for women to advance in library leadership.
Bibliography/Clearinghouse - Task Force Mission To identify published materials on the status of women in librarianship; to compile, update, and issue a bibliography of these materials on a regular basis; to alert COSWL to pertinent information on the status of women in librarianship; to provide access to ephemeral materials through ALA Headquarters  
Research on Women’s Issues - Subcommittee Mission To monitor and review research related to the status of women in librarianship; to coordinate findings with the COSWL Bibliography Task Force; to determine trends and gaps; to recommend possible research projects to COSWL or relevant research for review; to identify to librarians; to provide COSWL liaison to ALA Research Assembly.
