Gerald Hodges was the ALA Associate Executive Director for Communications and Marketing. His previous positions at ALA include Director of Membership Services and Director of the Chapter Relations Office. Prior to working at ALA, he was a professor at the University of Iowa, President of YALSA, and a member of the ALA Council.
Hodges held a Ph.D. and an M.A. from the University of Florida, a M.L.S. from Rutgers University, and an A.B. from the University of North Carolina.
