The FINRA Investor Education Foundation is proud to partner with ALA on Smart investing@your library®, a grant program addressing the growing need for reliable financial and investor education at the grassroots level. Increasingly, individuals are responsible for navigating complex financial decisions virtually every day. Even knowing where to turn for information can be a challenge. Participating libraries are helping patrons at library facilities, at home via the Web, at the workplace, and at myriad community locations to access unbiased, quality resources and educational opportunities to improve their financial decisions.

The FINRA Foundation supports innovative research and educational projects that give underserved Americans the knowledge, skills and tools necessary for financial success throughout life. To date, the FINRA Foundation has approved approximately $50 million in investor education and protection initiatives through a combination of grants and targeted projects. FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, is the largest non-governmental regulator for all securities firms doing business in the United States. FINRA is dedicated to investor protection and market integrity.
