Courtney Young published an article titled "Collection Development and Diversity on CIC Academic Library Web Sites" in the July issue of the Journal of Academic Librarianship.

Chrissie Anderson Peters was recently elected as vice president/president-elect of the University of Tennessee School of Information Sciences Alumni Board. She has also been asked to co-chair the Local Arrangements Committee for the Tennessee Library Association's 2008 conference in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Debra Andreadis co-authored an article with Karen Greeverin in the upcoming Technical Services Quarterly titled "Technical Services Work Redesign across Two College Libraries."

Jill Lynch, former graduate research assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory Research Library, presented at the Association of Mental Health Librarians annual meeting in Washington DC, November 3-5, 2006. The title of the presentation was "The Evolution of a Psychiatric Epidemic: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder."

Liorah Golomb was appointed assistant professor and humanities librarian at Wichita State University.

Faye Harkins was appointed head of special collections at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.

John Meier, engineering librarian at the University of New Orleans was appointed the liaison from ACRL's Science and Technology Section (ACRL-STS) to the American Society of Engineering Educators Engineering Libraries Division (ASEE-ELD). He also serves as the liaison for from ACRL-STS to NMRT, making him the NMRT representative to ASEE-ELD. This position also carries a stipend to attend the ASEE national conference.

Holly Wilson recently moved to Brooklyn, New York, to begin the position of Research and Instruction Librarian and Assistant Professor at the Pratt Institute.
