San Francisco – Journalist and Author Glenn Greenwald will discuss the state of surveillance in the United States on Sunday, June 28, 1 – 2 p.m. during the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference & Exhibition, June 25 – 30 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Greenwald will discuss, via Skype, what many view as the failure of the mainstream media to actively investigate U.S. government surveillance programs and the need to safeguard whistleblowers.
