Applications open for Games and Gaming Round Table 2024 'Game On!' Grant

CHICAGO, IL — The Games and Gaming Round Table of the American Library Association is proud to sponsor its annual grant program to enable libraries to develop gaming programs or collections for their patrons. This year, GameRT has increased the “Game On!” grant funds, and $1,000 will be available to be awarded to assist a library or libraries in developing gaming programs or collections for their communities.

GameRT seeks nominations of amazing games for its new Platinum Play Awards list!

CHICAGO — The Games & Gaming Round Table (GameRT) of the American Library Association is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the new Platinum Play Awards as part of its celebration of International Gaming Month. These new awards will recognize the best games for use in library collections and library programming. 

GameRT’s 2023 Game On! Grant awarded to Butler Area Public Library (Butler, PA)

CHICAGO — The Games & Gaming Round Table (GameRT) of the American Library Association is pleased to announce Butler Area Public Library (Butler, PA) as the recipient of their 2023 Game On! Grant ($500). GameRT introduced the Game On! grant program in 2020 with the intention of providing libraries with the opportunity to receive funds to develop gaming programs or collections for their community. The grants allow GameRT to award one grant of $500 or two of $250 each year.
