CHICAGO — Library staff members involved in summer reading are invited to participate in a survey released by the Public Library Association (PLA). The survey should take contributors 15-20 minutes and is designed to inform PLA’s efforts to develop a plan for a National Digital Summer Reading (NDSR) program website application. The survey closes on November 16.
CHICAGO — At 1 p.m. CDT on Oct. 17, the Public Library Association (PLA) will host a live, hour-long webinar, “ Make Way for Makerspaces at the Library ” with Lauren Britton, transliteracy development director at the Fayetteville (N.Y.) Free Library, and creator of the first public library makerspace, the Fayetteville Fab Lab.
