Middleton, associate university librarian for learning and engagement at the Oregon State University (OSU) Libraries and Press, has been elected ACRL vice-president/president-elect. She will become president-elect following the 2016 ALA Annual Conference in Orlando, and assume the presidency in July 2017 for a one-year term.

Since the inaugural report in 2014, the academic and research library-focused edition of the NMC Horizon Report series has been a collaboration between the NMC, the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) Chur, the German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) Hannover, and ETH-Bibliothek Zürich.
