CHICAGO — As part of its continuing efforts to provide networking opportunities for employers and job seekers, the ALA JobLIST Placement & Career Development Center will host an Open House - Job Fair from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 during the American Library Association’s Midwinter Meeting in Atlanta.
Representatives from various libraries and library-related companies can take advantage of the opportunity to talk with conference attendees about their specific work environments—things that make their place of employment unique. There is no cost to participate in the Open House - Job Fair.
No appointments are necessary. Job seekers can just show up and talk to employers. Employers interested in participating in the Open House should complete and submit a participation form (PDF) via email to email@example.com using Open House as the subject. Deadline to submit form is Friday, Dec. 23rd, 2016.
We are also still accepting employers who want a recruitment booth in the ALA JobLIST Placement Center. Employers can reserve individual recruitment booths in order to conduct interviews in the Placement Center. Just complete a booth reservation form (PDF) and submit it via email to firstname.lastname@example.org using Recruitment Booth as the subject. Deadline to submit form is Friday, Dec. 23rd, 2016.
