CHICAGO — The American Library Association (ALA) and EBSCO are partnering to offer seven conference sponsorships for librarians to attend the 2015 Annual Conference. The meeting takes place June 25 – June 30, 2015, and offers an opportunity for continuing education, meetings and interaction with colleagues.

Each EBSCO scholarship will be in the amount of $1,000.  The scholarship money is to be used for conference registration, travel and expenses.

Deadline for entry is Dec. 1, 2014; scholarship recipients will be notified no later than March 16, 2015.  To apply, candidates must complete the application criteria and submit an essay that addresses the following topic: “How will attending this ALA Conference contributes to my professional development"? Essays and applications will be judged by a jury designated by ALA.
