For more than 45 years, SAGE has consulted and conferred with librarians to help meet the ever-changing needs of library patrons, most recently with a suite of research projects looking at discoverability, open access (a joint roundtable with the British Library) and the perceived value of the library (commissioned with LISU). SAGE shares with librarians a passion for information that shapes and betters the world and values the critical role that libraries play in promoting literacy, learning and culture. SAGE was founded on the idea that engaged scholarship lies at the heart of a healthy society.
