PHILADELPHIA –  United for Libraries  will present “Nuts & Bolts for Friends and Trustees” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. PDT on Friday, Jan. 25 at the Sheraton Seattle, Redwood, during the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Seattle.

The popular Nuts & Bolts program will feature speakers addressing topics of interest to Friends, Trustees and advocates, including effective communication, board development, advocacy and organizing author events at your library. Roundtable discussions will be held on marketing, social media, strategic planning, fundraising, board development, author programs and online book sales.

Those planning to attend the Nuts & Bolts program at the ALA Midwinter Meeting should RSVP to united@ala.org.
