ACRL launches new Immersion track: Practical Management for the Instruction Coordinator

CHICAGO — Registration is now available for the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) new Information Literacy Immersion Program Practical Management for the Instruction Coordinator track. Complete program details and registration materials are available on the Immersion Program website. The registration deadline for the program is Feb. 22, 2013.
The new Practical Management track will address how to lead from within, developing the powers of persuasion to influence in multiple directions. Additional track topics include creating the proper environment for a successful instruction program, understanding a broader campus environment, providing constructive feedback and coaching for success.
The Immersion '13 Practical Management track will be held April 10, 2013, in Indianapolis. The one-day program will be held in conjunction with, but is not part of, the ACRL 2013 Conference.
