CHICAGO - Find the PLA Store at PLA 2012 Conference  in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Convention Center near the Broad Street entrance. The PLA Store is located near Registration, ideal for easy access and convenient browsing. With plenty of new and best-selling items available, you’ll want to make sure to carve out some time in your schedule to stop by! The PLA Store hours are:

Wednesday, March 14:                  noon  - 6:30 p.m.

ALA Graphics will feature best-selling posters and bookmarks, including Hunger Games, Mo Willems, Hugo, Oprah Winfrey and It’s a Book, campaign materials for Choose Privacy Week, conference souvenirs, reading incentives and fun gifts. Several new titles from ALA Editions will be making their debuts at the PLA Store. “A Book Sale How-To Guide: More Money, Less Stress,” by Pat Ditzler and JoAnn Dumas, points out specific ways to run a sale to ensure maximum financial benefit while building community support, while “True Stories of Censorship Battles in America's Libraries,” edited by Valerie Nye and Kathy Barco, compiles dozens of stories from library front lines.  Other recent titles of interest include “No Shelf Required 2: Use and Management of Electronic Books,” by Sue Polanka, “Small Public Library Management” and the Third Edition of “Copyright Law for Librarians and Educators: Creative Strategies and Practical Solutions.” Look for many more new and favorite titles, including those from many divisions of the ALA, such as the new Second Edition of the Every Child Ready to Read® @ your library® kit.
