Join YALSA for March 8 Tweetup on 'The Hunger Games'
For Immediate Release
CHICAGO – Join YALSA on Thursday, March 8, for a Tweetup in honor of Teen Tech Week™ to discuss "The Hunger Games" film premiere and your library! The Tweetup, sponsored by The Hub, YALSA’s YA Lit blog, will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Eastern with the hashtag #THGyalsa. The Hub will also host a concurrent CoverItLive session, for those who would rather join the conversation there, at http://yalsa.ala.org/thehub.
Anyone interested in discussing "The Hunger Games" and libraries can join the conversation: tell us if your library or school has any special events or an outing , let us know if you have any read-alikes you can share, or talk about whether you think the film will live up to “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins or just your expectations!
To be part of the Tweetup, tag your Twitter posts as #THGyalsa starting at 3:30 p.m. Eastern or log onto the CoverItLive session at http://yalsa.ala.org/thehub. Faythe Arredondo, The Hub Advisory Board member and author of its weekly Tweets of the Week post, will lead this session. May the odds be ever in our favor for a lively and informative discussion!
