Moreillon is a literacies and libraries consultant and assistant professor in the School of Library and Information Studies at Texas Woman’s University. She teaches courses in librarians as instructional partners, school library administration, multimedia resources, storytelling and children’s and young adult literature. During her 13-year tenure as a school librarian, she has collaborated with classroom teachers, specialists and principals at the elementary, middle and high school levels to integrate literature and information literacy into the classroom curriculum. She chaired the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) School Librarian’s Role in Reading Task Force and served on the AASL Guidelines and Standards Implementation Task Force.
