CHICAGO — The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association, seeks input from YALSA members and anyone interested or involved in teen library services for the next iteration of its strategic plan. Respondents can offer their insights by taking a strategic planning survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/yalsasp11.
Every activity, initiative, resource and service that YALSA develops is determined by the goals and objectives of the Strategic Plan, which is revised every three to five years. YALSA’s most recent revision took place in 2008. Survey input will help the division determine priorities, interests and concerns that will be reflected in the plan’s upcoming revision.
YALSA’s Board of Directors seeks input from members and nonmembers alike. The survey will close on March 31. Questions about the strategic planning process? Contact Priscille Dando, chair of YALSA’s strategic planning committee, at email@example.com.
For more than 50 years, YALSA has been the world leader in selecting books, videos and audio books for teens.
