CHICAGO — Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) members who have never attended an ALA Annual Conference are invited to apply for YALSA's Baker & Taylor Conference Grant. This grant is funded by the Baker and Taylor Company. The two grants of $1,000 each are awarded to librarians who work directly with young adults in a school or public setting to enable them to attend the Annual Conference for the first time. To be eligible for this grant, you must be a YALSA member, have one to 10 years' experience and have never been to an ALA Annual Conference.
YALSA is offering an outstanding lineup of meetings and events at the 2010 Annual Conference that you won’t want to miss. The conference is also an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues and potential employers. Plus, you get to see New Orleans! Don’t miss the opportunity.
