YALSA garners Edublog Award nomination

CHICAGO — The Edublog Awards (
www.edublogawards.com) nominated the official blog of the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), for Best Group Edublog 2009.
Anyone can vote, and voting takes place through 7 p.m. CST on Dec. 15 at
www.edublogawards.com. YALSA’s blog could win a one-year subscription to Edublogs Campus software and a 10-seat Elluminate web-video conference room for one year.
“The YALSA Blog is an outstanding community of bloggers and education professionals, and this nomination gives us recognition,” said mk Eagle, YALSA blog manager. “I couldn’t be more proud of all of our bloggers.”
Celebrating the best education blogs on the web, the Edublog Awards have been given since 2005 to recognize outstanding online work from a wide variety of educators and students. Past winners in the group blog category include TechLearning.com and Dekita.org.
