This year’s participants represent academic, public and special libraries, as well as library associations, agencies and service providers from across the country.
This annual event routinely celebrates extraordinary examples of diversity and equity of access in America’s libraries, with multiple ideas for local libraries in search of “diversity- and outreach-in-action” programs and services. This year the Fair will highlight accessibility and other innovative outreach services to underserved communities. Once again DEMCO, Inc., event sponsor since 1998, will provide refreshments and award prizes for presentation creativity, visual appeal and impact on local community.
Participants will share their diversity and outreach resources and initiatives in face-to-face presentations with conferees, utilizing a poster session and table talk format. Abstracts and contact information from the event will be available on the OLOS web site after conference at http://www.ala.org/olos.
