For Immediate Release
Public Library Association (PLA)
CHICAGO — All public libraries in the U.S. and Canada are invited to complete an important survey, which collects important information on public libraries' finances, resources, service usage and technology from Fiscal Year 2018. A summary of the survey data is published annually in PLA's Public Library Data Service (PLDS) Statistical Report. The FY 2018 survey is opening later in the year due to administrative delays.
Participation is free. Once the data are available, in the summer, PLDS participants will receive complimentary access to the summary reports and a downloadable version of their individual library's data.
To participate, please visit https://pla.countingopinions.com. Returning users may use the credentials they created in years past and new users must create a PLDS account. The deadline to submit survey data is May 30, 2019.
Questions about the PLDS survey may be emailed to email@example.com.
