AASL Webinar Presenters Wanted

American Association of School Librarians (AASL)
CHICAGO – The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) invites subject matter experts to submit proposals for webinars 30-60 minutes in length. Proposals may be submitted using the AASL Get Involved form.
Proposals should include up to three learning objectives and should address how the webinar subject matter supports AASL’s mission of empowering leaders to transform teaching and learning. AASL especially seeks webinars on the following topics:
- Integrating the new AASL Standards into practice
- Digital equity
- Cultural awareness and diversity
- Socio-emotional learning
- Serving preschoolers in the school library
- Library service to incarcerated juveniles
- Student data privacy and digital citizenship
All webinar topics will be considered, which may include but is not limited to:
- STEM, STEAM, STREAM
- Emergent technology
- Coding, Hour of Code
- Community outreach/advocacy
- Collection development
- Evidence-based practice
- Project-/problem-based learning
