CHICAGO – In coordination with the unveiling of upgraded tools and features on its Project Outcome website, the Public Library Association (PLA) is offering a free webinar to help participating libraries navigate the new site environment. Project Outcome is a free online toolkit designed to help public libraries understand and share the impact of their programs and services by providing simple surveys and an easy-to-use process for measuring and analyzing outcomes. On May 1, Project Outcome released the upgraded tools and features aimed to better serve users' needs and provide more flexibility and customization.

A free webinar geared toward libraries that use Project Outcome will be held from 1-2 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, May 11. Project Outcome Update: Website & Survey Management Improvements will highlight key new features and walk users through the new website, including how to use the new survey management and data entry tool and building custom reports. Participants will also learn how to create surveys with new features for customization as well as the preferred practices for writing open-ended questions when adding them to standardized Project Outcome surveys.

This webinar is open to everyone but will be most helpful to libraries using Project Outcome.  Registration is free but space is limited. The Project Outcome tools are only available to U.S. and Canadian public and state library staff, but anyone can sign up and access the free resources at www.projectoutcome.org.

The Public Library Association (PLA) is the largest association dedicated to supporting the unique and evolving needs of public library professionals.
