As the nation grapples with tough economic times, Americans are increasingly turning to libraries to take advantage of their free programs and services.

Last summer, the American Library Association began telling this important story to the media. Coverage has appeared  in national, regional and local media.  Coverage focuses on how Americans can take advantage of  free access to books, computers, homework and job assistance help, accurate financial information, adult education courses, DVDs, CDs and  much more.
