STEERING COMMITTE/MEMBERSHIP MEETING

DATE: ALA Midwinter Conference, Feb. 16-20, 2018 (Denver, CO)

The LSSIRT Board and the LSSIRT Round Table Membership does not actually have any meetings or programs planned for the 2018 Denver Meeting & Exhibits. Due to travel cost and availability of time, the Board will be meeting through a teleconference prior to the Midwinter Conference only to discuss issues that the Board may need to act on. Also, due to the restructuring of the how the Conference, as a whole is designed and put together, no specific program is planned for Midwinter directly coming from the LSSIRT Board. Keep in touch through ALA Connect and our Facebook page. We would love to meet with anyone in attendance who has information they would like to share, members who would like to learn more about how to get involved, and generally just getting together to share thoughts and ideas about our jobs back home. If anyone else is also interested in meeting up informally, we can always plan a casual coffee chat, dinner out, or end-of-the-day recap on one evening to share what we have been attending. As the program becomes more solid, we'll make sure to get more information out on sessions that may be of interest, in particular to Support Staff and our membership. Do the same and look over the schedule both online and when you arrive in Denver, and let others know what you may be attending and how it fits into your job back home. Hope this helps and more to come!
