$500. Presented annually to to recognize excellent research into problems related to the profession of librarianship. Deadline: March 1, 2013.

Jesse H. Shera Award for Distinguished Published Research (for more information)

Certificate. Presented annually, the award recognizes a research article published in English during the calendar year, nominated by any member of LRRT or by the editors of research journals and information studies.  Deadline: March 29, 2013.

Jesse H. Shera Award for the Support of Dissertation Research (for more information)

Certificate and $250. Presented annually to provide recognition for dissertation research employing exemplary research design and methods.  Deadline: March 29, 2013.
