LITA is dedicated to offering an inclusive community for our members and others attending our programs. This conversation series will be anchored by questions that will help us gauge how to improve in each of these areas: Where are our problems? What opportunities are we missing? How can we better support our members and attract and retain a more diverse membership?

Join the UX Interest Group for some UX-related conversations plus three guest presentations on UX projects great and small. After we take care of some IG business and do some brainstorming on topics for Annual in Chicago, we will be joined by Viki Timian and Mary Poland from the University of Georgia Libraries to talk about their experiences developing a bicycle lending program, a new makerspace, and more. Victor Simmons, Library Administrator at the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History will join us to talk about their recent renovation project. Finally, Jennifer Jones from the Georgia State University Library will talk about some of the mini-projects her library has engaged in to benefit its users via incremental but impactful changes. I hope to see you there!
