Committees

As described in the LITA Bylaws, the Board of Directors establishes committees to consider the affairs of the Division that requires continuous or repeated attention by members.   Committees assist the Board of Directors in the management of the division, or address particular concerns of the Division.  Typically, each committee is composed of not less than three LITA members who serve two year terms.   To encourage broad participation, interns may be appointed to committees for a one-year term.  Terms commence and terminate at the adjournment of Annual Conferences.  A Board member often serves as liaison to a committee, to ensure communication between the Board and committee.
