Interest groups are completely self-initiated and not appointed by LITA officers.  Membership consists of any number of participants and is open to LITA members.  The leadership of each group is selected by the group.

Conference Activities

Midwinter 2015

The Public Library Technology Interest Group will meet on Sunday, Feb 1 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am, in room W194a McCormick Place.  We will have a guest speaker, Bob Bocher who is a current fellow for ALA OITP Washington Office. Bob will discuss recent changes to the e-rate by the FCC. And he will tell libraries how they may be able to top into some of those funds.
