Forum Planning Committee 2018


To work with the LITA office to plan, organize, and produce an annual event that highlights current and emerging technologies in libraries and provides a venue for people involved or interested in library technology to discuss issues. The 2018 Forum location and fall dates are yet to be determined.

The Forum Planning Committee typically consists of about 15 members, appointed from LITA membership. Committee service begins 18 month prior to the Forum and concludes the December immediately following the Forum.


The LITA Forum Planning Committee is charged with creating and implementing the Forum annually. The LITA National Forum is a 3-day educational event featuring preconferences, keynote, concurrent, and poster sessions that explore leading-edge technologies and their applications in all types of libraries.
