LIRT-MEM

LIRT-MEM is automatically created from all of those who have joined LIRT. It is updated quarterly, shortly before the announcement of the availability of the most current LIRT News. It is to be used only to make announcements that are particularly beneficial to the LIRT membership, such as the availability of the most recent issue of the LIRT News, the promotion of LIRT-sponsored webinars specifically for LIRT members, etc. All other types of library instruction related messages (position announcements, conference announcements, calls for papers, award announcements, etc.) should be sent to LIRT-L.

LIRT-S and LIRT-E

The LIRT-S and LIRT-E lists serve to facilitate communication within the Library Instruction Round Table Steering Committee and Executive Board and also as a mechanism for LIRT committee members to communicate information to the LIRT Steering Committee and Executive Board. LIRT-S and LIRT-E are open only to LIRT Steering Committee and Executive Board members. However, if anyone wishes to communicate some information to the LIRT Steering Committee or Executive Board, s/he may do so by sending the message to the the appropriate list lirt-s@lists.ala.org or lirt-e@lists.ala.org, and the list owner will post it to the approprate list.
