Do you train staff or public at your library? Have you ever wanted to chat with other trainers and share tips and best practices? Well, here is your opportunity!
The Learning Roundtable of ALA would like to invite you to participate in our Training Showcase at ALA Annual in San Francisco on Saturday, June 27th from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm. The showcase is an annual event sponsored by our round table to give trainers and training organizations a chance to showcase best practices in library training, learning, and continuing education. No matter what type of library, if you train staff or public, come learn and share. This year we are going to facilitate training talk tables and also provide space for sharing training materials and information about your training programs.
Bring your materials, bring your minds, and bring your questions!
Participating affords you the opportunity to share information about your program as well as learn about the best practices of other libraries and organizations. Our Learning Round Table is all about sharing ideas (and stealing/borrowing ideas) and the Training Showcase is the perfect venue. The Showcase normally attracts between 100-200 attendees – all of whom are interested in training and staff development. It’s a fast-paced, fun event!
Please let me know if you are interested in participating - we would love to have you as a part of this event!!
