External Relations Committee
The External Relations Committee consists of about five members appointed from round table membership, serving two year terms, and led by a chair.
The External Relations Committee builds and sustains relationships with organizations outside of ALA who would like to partner with the Round Table to share information and conduct programs. Publicizes the programs, activities and publications of the Round Table to individuals and organizations outside ALA. Monitors ALA units, affiliates, and external library organizations on issues that need the attention/participation of the Round Table (e.g. Council, Diversity Council, internet filtering, Family Friendly Libraries, etc.). (This description will be removed when all round table committees are issued formal charges.)
