An IMLS funded project in 2007, 2008, and 2013 designed to increase racial and ethnic diversity among our profession’s next generation of LIS leaders.

Award and Frequency

This Fellowship provided full tuition and annual stipends of $20,000 to Fellows for the first two years of study.
This award is not currently being given out.

Eligibility

Applicants must be American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander.

Applicant Responsibility

Applicants must have been accepted into a PhD program in library science at any of the ten participating schools:
